Clinical Lead in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be a leading member of our well-established community children and young people's mental health service, providing input to the Preston CYP service and Royal Preston Hospital A&E and Paediatric ward.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality clinical leadership and expertise in child and adolescent mental health services.
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans for children and young people with complex mental health needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support.
- Participate in the Consultant On Call rota and provide additional remuneration.
- Full GMC registration and Licence to Practise.
- On GMC Specialist Register or within 6 months.
- Section 12 approved or within 3 months.
- AC status or within 3 months.
- Knowledge, experience, and skills relevant to this role.
- At least SPAs as standard for a full-time post.
- Excellent peer support group.
- Study leave budget of £3000 over 3 years or up to £5000 over 3 years for newly qualified Consultants.
- Opportunities to be a clinical supervisor.
