Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) team at Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to children and adolescents with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive psychiatric assessments and treatment plans for children and adolescents with mental health needs
  • Lead and manage a team of mental health professionals to deliver high-quality care
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve service delivery
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care
  • Participate in education and training programs to stay up-to-date with best practices

Requirements:

  • Eligibility to register with the General Medical Council (GMC)
  • Experience in child and adolescent mental health
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Salary: £99,532 - £131,964 per annum
