Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Specialist for Children and Young People to join our team at East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust.

About the Role

This is a part-time position, up to 21 hours per week, requiring a highly skilled professional with post-registration experience in working with children and young people with mental health needs. The successful candidate will provide clinical intervention, leadership, and training on the delivery of care for children and young people.

You will work closely with partners to enable multi-agency input around the child or young person's needs. Key responsibilities include providing enhanced specialist level supervision and guidance, advising on care for children and young people with mental health needs, onward referral and liaison with community specialist services, and ensuring legal requirements are considered and adhered to.
