We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Specialist to join our team at Sanctuary Personnel Ltd. As a Locum Social Worker, you will work in the Ipswich area, providing mental health care services to those in need.

The ideal candidate will have a Degree or equivalent in social work and be registered with Social Work England. They will also have significant frontline experience in Adults Services within the UK.

Salary: £27 per hour (assignment rate)

Main Duties:

  • Support referrals for assigned areas, conducting comprehensive assessments and developing specialist mental health care plans.
  • Maintain strong links and communication with health providers while supporting women during pregnancy or post-natal stages.
  • Plan care programme approach reviews.
  • Escalate concerns to safeguarding partners as needed.
  • Provide direct patient care with minimal supervision, ensuring continuity of practice.
  • Manage a caseload and provide mental health care services.
  • Record mental health records accurately on admission, discharge, and review.
  • Work within the multi-disciplinary team and form partnerships with other care providers.

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent in social work
  • Current Social Work England registration
  • Significant frontline experience in Adults Services within the UK
