About the Role

We're seeking an experienced professional to join our SEND Services team as our Lead Specialist in Special Education. As our Lead Specialist, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing our SEND Strategy, working closely with parents and carers and children and young people in the development of services.

Responsibilities

You'll oversee EHCP assessments, specialist settings admissions and our innovative SEND Assessment Centre programme. You'll also take a lead role in the development and implementation of the Council's SEND Strategy.

Requirements:
  • Experience in SEND Services or a related field
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Ability to develop and implement effective strategies
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £70,086 to £79,174 per annum, plus benefits such as up to 29 days annual leave entitlement (pro rata), membership of a Local Government Pension Scheme, travel, lifestyle, health and wellbeing benefits, performance-related annual pay progression, and more.
