We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Executive to support our business in Long Eaton. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining high customer service standards, resolving issues efficiently, and processing orders promptly.

Job Description

Salary: £24,000 - £28,000 per annum

The ideal candidate will have experience in the Furniture, Fabrics or Textiles industries, but we are open to candidates with various customer service backgrounds. We offer training on specific aspects of the job, and what's essential is having excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively manage customer complaints.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Action and resolve customer complaints in a timely manner
  • Process customer orders and service requests
  • Negotiate allowances and goodwill gestures with customers
  • Dispatch and manage stock levels of service parts
  • Update spreadsheets and databases as required
  • Provide feedback on customer complaint patterns and trends

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access, and exposure to Google Sheets
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to de-escalate customer complaints

This is a hybrid role based at our office in Long Eaton. You will report to our Customer Service Manager and work closely with the team to ensure seamless customer service delivery.
