Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Care Companion to provide support and companionship to a 12-year-old boy with profound learning disabilities in the Bishopston area.
The role involves accessing the community, building relationships, and offering new opportunities for engagement in social activities such as play parks, swimming, and outdoor activities.
Some duties will be performed indoors, while others will require transportation using the candidate's own vehicle, which must be fully insured and licensed for use in the UK.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with complex needs and possess excellent communication skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications
A Full UK driving license is essential for this role, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
The successful candidate will also need to be comfortable performing personal care tasks and have a passion for disability rights.
