Caregiver for Young Individual with Profound Learning Disabilities

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate caregiver to support a 12-year-old boy with profound learning disabilities in the Bishopston area.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the individual\'s life by providing companionship, accessing the community, and encouraging engagement in social activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing personal care and support
- Accompanying the individual to community activities, such as play parks, swimming, and outdoor events
- Assisting with daily living tasks and promoting independence
- Transporting the individual using a personal vehicle
Requirements
- Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities
- Ability to provide personal care and support
- Full UK driving license and access to a personal vehicle
- Child-centered approach and passion for disability rights
Working Hours
The successful candidate will work up to 12 hours per week during term time and 16 hours per week during school holidays, with flexible days and times to be discussed.
