We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Transformative Pastoral Support Specialist. About the Role

This is an amazing opportunity for Criminology and Psychology Graduates or individuals looking to make a difference in the lives of children and young people. As a Transformative Pastoral Support Specialist, you will work closely with students who have social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs, associated with challenging behaviors.

Key Responsibilities
  • To provide pastoral support and guidance to students, helping them to achieve their full potential.
  • To build strong relationships with students, staff, and other stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • To remain calm and resilient when faced with situations of stress or conflict, using empathetic and compassionate approaches to de-escalate tensions.
  • To contribute to the development and implementation of therapeutic and holistic practices, aimed at improving student engagement, attainment, and life chances.

Requirements

  • High levels of empathy, caring, compassionate, and a good listener.

The salary for this role is £80-£100 per day, Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 15:30, term time only. No previous experience is required, and excellent on-site training, support, and CPD are provided to ensure safeguarding of all students. You must have the right to work in the UK to apply, as no Visa sponsorship is available.
