Lancashire County Council is seeking a highly motivated and responsible individual to fill the role of School Crossing Patrol Officer.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be required to cover the Puffin Crossing outside St Matthews Academy School, ensuring the safe crossing of students and pedestrians.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage the school crossing area during designated hours (Monday to Friday 08:30-09:05 & 15:05-15:35).
- Report any safety concerns or issues to the relevant authorities.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, applicants must have:
- A strong understanding of road safety principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
