Radiation Safety Expert Wanted:

Rullion is seeking an experienced Radiation Safety and Compliance Officer to join our team. As a seasoned health physicist, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective implementation of radiation safety policies and procedures across various facilities.

Your Key Tasks:

  1. Conduct regular radiation surveys and measurements
  2. Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  3. Develop and implement radiation safety training programs
  4. Maintain accurate records and reports
  5. Collaborate with facility operators to ensure compliance with regulations

Requirements:

  • SC clearance (or ability to obtain)
  • At least 3 years' experience in radiation safety or related field
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., City & Guilds level 1 Radiation Protection or NVQ level 2)

What We Offer:

A competitive salary range of £40,000-£45,000 per annum, based on your experience. Enjoy a 37-hour workweek, Monday to Friday, in a variety of locations across Cumbria and the UK.
