Radiation Protection Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiation Protection Specialist to join our team at Rullion Limited. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and protection of individuals and the environment from radiation-related hazards.
This permanent position offers an attractive salary range of £40,000-£45,000 per annum, depending on experience, and is based in Cumbria or UK-wide locations. The successful candidate will work 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
About the RoleThe primary responsibilities of this role include:
- Carrying out radiological protection monitoring and measurements to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
- Providing expert advice on radiation protection to facility operators and stakeholders.
- Producing survey sheets, reports, and data presentations to inform decision-making and drive improvement initiatives.
To be considered for this position, applicants must have:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Health Physics Monitor.
- City and Guilds level 1 Radiation Protection or NVQ level 2 in Radiation Protection.
- Ability to gain SC clearance.
