We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team at CORNERSTONE PROJECT SOURCE LTD. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate estimates for structural steelwork and sub-contract works, assessing material, labour, and equipment requirements, and analysing quotes from sub-contractors and suppliers.

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a well-established company in the construction industry. You will be working on a variety of projects, including structural steelwork, and will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise as an Estimator.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare detailed estimates for structural steelwork projects, including material, labour, and equipment costs.
  2. Assess the requirements of each project, including site conditions, access restrictions, and logistical considerations.
  3. Analyse quotes from sub-contractors and suppliers to ensure profitability and accuracy.
  4. Input data into estimating software with precision and attention to detail.
  5. Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and quantity surveyors to understand project requirements and deliverables.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
  2. Strong maths and IT skills, including problem-solving and attention to detail.
  3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas simply.
  4. Highly organised with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.

CORNERSTONE PROJECT SOURCE LTD is a well-established company in the construction industry, with a reputation for delivering high-quality projects on time and on budget.

Salary: £57,000 - £67,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
