We are seeking a highly skilled Water Network Operations Specialist to join our team at Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water. As a key member of our Distribution Network team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliable operation and maintenance of our water distribution network.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in water network operation and maintenance, with excellent technical skills and a passion for delivering high-quality customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing expert technical support for the Distribution area">
  • Work alongside the areas Network Analyst and other members of the Network team">
  • Making recommendations for performance improvements">
  • Ensuring data/IMS compliance">
  • Reacting and working alongside all other teams during Silver & Gold incidents">
  • Actively reviewing customer service performance">
  • Supporting the area supervisor to ensure the Distribution Network is operated and maintained">
  • Advising on technical issues and dealing with any areas of poor service">
  • Working with the network analyst to trend root cause areas of poor service">

About You

">

We are looking for someone who holds a BTEC/HNC in a numerate or engineering subject, or has several years' related experience of water network operation and maintenance. A full current driving license is also essential. In addition, we require a high level of customer service/Network Operations experience, as well as an understanding of regulatory reporting and measures.

You will also need to be proficient in Microsoft software packages, SAP packages, CRM, and ISU, and have the technical ability to identify network issues and implement improvements.

We offer a market competitive salary of around £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as 33 days annual leave, employee benefits, and rewards including variable pay schemes, annual leave, employer pension contributions, family-friendly policies, progression opportunities, and employee assistance programme.

Please note that this is an estimated salary range based on industry standards and may vary depending on individual circumstances.
