Responsibilities
  • Culinary Leadership:
    • Develop innovative menus for various events, including weddings, corporate gatherings, and private parties, showcasing creativity and flair.
    • Assure impeccable preparation and presentation of all food items, upholding the highest standards of quality and consistency.
  • Kitchen Management:
    • Manage daily kitchen operations, encompassing staff scheduling, inventory management, and adherence to food safety protocols.
    • Train, mentor, and develop kitchen staff to enhance their skills and performance, promoting a culture of excellence.
  • Budgeting and Cost Control:
    • Maintain close monitoring of food costs and labor expenses to ensure profitability while preserving quality standards.
    • Implement strategies to minimize waste and optimize kitchen efficiency, driving business success.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • E nsure that all food served meets the highest quality standards and is prepared according to health and safety regulations.
    • Conduct regular inspections of kitchen equipment and facilities to uphold hygiene and safety standards.
  • Menu Development:
    • Stay abreast of culinary trends and incorporate seasonal ingredients into menu offerings.
    • Experiment with new recipes and techniques to elevate the culinary experience.
  • Qualifications and Skills:
    • Proven experience as a Head Chef or Kitchen Manager in a banqueting or high-volume catering environment.
    • Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience.
    • Strong leadership skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices.
    • Able to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
    Compensation Package

We offer a competitive salary based on experience, ranging between £45,000 to £60,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and background. A bonus structure tied to business performance and individual contributions will also be implemented.
