Children's Team Leader Nights

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader to join our team at Manpower Group (UK). As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of production employees in a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, producing luxury performance cars for Aston Martin Lagonda.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Coaching: Provide coaching and mentoring to direct reports to achieve 'World Class' standards.
- Operational Planning: Plan and coordinate manufacturing operations to achieve volume, quality, and cost targets.
- Quality Management: Monitor and control quality levels to ensure customer protection and compliance with company standards.
- Team Management: Motivate, support, and lead the team through coaching and mentoring.
- Performance Management: Achieve required performance in areas of housekeeping, waste management, and compliance to safety and environmental legislation.
- Labour Management: Plan labour requirements and ensure procedures are followed to recruit labour.
- Training and Development: Assist and facilitate training to develop team members and minimize impact of labour shortages.
- Visual Management: Audit all visual management in the area of responsibility and ensure corrective action plans are put in place.
- Problem Resolution: Develop and implement robust problem containment and resolution to protect the customer.
- Industrial Relations: Manage and resolve Industrial Relations issues at a local level.
- Budget Management: Monitor team local budgetary spend on overtime, tooling, and other consumable type items.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to influence others.
- Leadership Experience: Proven experience in coaching and mentoring teams.
- Operational Knowledge: Knowledge of manufacturing operations and quality management.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to influence others.
- Computer Literacy: Proficient in computer software and systems.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work shift patterns, overtime, weekends to achieve production targets.
- Travel: Ability to travel at short notice within the UK to other Aston Martin sites.
Working hours will involve working days and rotating shifts. Volume protection contractual overtime arrangements are in place to ensure required production demands can be met. Stand up and Stand down balances are managed as part of each employee's Working Time Account (WTA). All production employees are required to align with fixed holidays throughout the year in line with production shutdowns. Your annual leave 'floating days' are on a pro-rota basis based on your start date and can be taken outside of those shutdowns.
