Children's Team Leader Nights

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader to join our team at Aston Martin. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of production employees and ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate a team of production employees to achieve high-quality production standards.
- Plan and coordinate manufacturing operations to meet production targets.
- Monitor and control quality levels to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Manage labor, consumable materials, and equipment to optimize production efficiency.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance team performance and minimize labor shortages.
- Ensure accurate data collection and reporting.
- Audit visual management systems to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement robust problem containment and resolution strategies.
- Manage industrial relations issues at a local level.
- Monitor and control team budgetary spend on overtime, tooling, and other consumable items.
- Coaching and mentoring experience to enhance team morale and performance.
- Able to identify team strengths and weaknesses and facilitate training needs.
- Knowledge of Kaizen, Industrial Engineering, Quality and Process Management, and ISO 14001.
- Computer literate with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work shift patterns, overtime, weekends to achieve production targets.
- Full driving license required.
- Able to travel at short notice within the UK to other Aston Martin sites.
Working Hours: The role will involve working days and rotating shifts. Volume protection contractual overtime arrangements are in place to ensure required production demands can be met. Stand up and Stand down balances are managed as part of each employee's Working Time Account (WTA). All production employees are required to align with fixed holidays throughout the year in line with production shutdowns. Your annual leave 'floating days' are on a pro-rota basis based on your start date and can be taken outside of those shutdowns.
