Job Title: Children's Team Leader Nights

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader to join our Children's Team in a Nights role. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of professionals in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the highest standards of quality and productivity are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and motivate a team of professionals to achieve volume, quality, and cost targets.
  2. Monitor and control quality levels within the team's area of responsibility, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  3. Ensure the team has the necessary resources, including labour, materials, and equipment, to achieve required volume and quality levels.
  4. Mentor and coach team members to develop their skills and knowledge.
  5. Achieve required performance in areas of housekeeping, waste management, and compliance with safety and environmental legislation.
  6. Control waste to meet departmental budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of company and natural resources.
  7. Facilitate team measurement of performance, enabling the team to work on problem resolution and customer protection.
  8. Assist and facilitate training to develop team members and minimize the impact of labour shortages.
  9. Ensure data collection is up-to-date and accurate.
  10. Audit visual management in the team's area of responsibility, implementing corrective action plans as needed.
  11. Manage and resolve Industrial Relations issues at a local level.
  12. Monitor team local budgetary spend on overtime, tooling, and other consumable items.
  13. Develop and implement coaching and mentoring strategies to enhance team morale and performance.
  14. Identify team strengths and weaknesses, facilitating training needs.
  15. Hold or be willing to undertake qualifications in Kaizen, Industrial Engineering, Quality, and Process Management, as well as ISO 14001 appreciation.
  16. Be computer-literate and flexible to work shift patterns, overtime, weekends to achieve production targets.
  17. Hold a full driving license and be willing to travel within the UK to other Aston Martin sites.
  18. Work rotating shifts, including days and nights, with volume protection contractual overtime arrangements in place.
