Avionics Technical Lead

Job Description:
Role SummaryThis B2 Licensed Engineer will provide engineering operational support to Flight Operations, ensuring the continued safe operation of aircraft.
Responsibilities:
- Maintenance inspections and repairs as directed by the nominated LAE Supervisor.
- Leading teams to high standards and accomplishing maintenance tasks, including avionic and electrical systems.
- Supervising avionic and electrical fitters and certifying their work.
- Conducting off-aircraft avionic and electrical technical work in the Av workshop as required.
- Assisting in the day-to-day running of the aircraft Hangar, including aircraft movement and general housekeeping responsibilities.
Qualifications:
- A thorough knowledge of helicopter avionic and electrical systems.
- Knowledge of specialised test equipment relating to avionic and electrical systems.
- Up-to-date knowledge of CAA regulations, particularly Pt 145, Part M Continued Airworthiness Management (CAM).
- Aircraft Line Maintenance experience.
- Experience with SAP and ERP software.
The hourly rate for this position is negotiable and may range from £80-100.
