Avionics Repair Specialist

Job Overview:
We are currently recruiting for an Avionics Repair Specialist to join our team at Proactive Global. As an experienced professional in the field of aerospace engineering, you will be responsible for repairing and overhauling aircraft communications, navigation, radar, radio audio units, recorders and instruments to component level.
About You:
To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of analogue electronics, complex microprocessor electronics and RF circuits. You will also require excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake precise mechanical work and electronics repair including through hole and surface mounted components.
- Complete fault finding, repair and testing process using specialized and general-purpose test equipment.
- Undertake work in accordance with the manufacturer's component maintenance manual and regulatory approvals and the company's quality system.
- Maintain an agreed level of quality and cost effectiveness, ensuring accuracy and safety standards are met.
- Undertake cross-training in other technical areas in line with the requirements of the business.
Requirements:
- Fully qualified Aircraft Engineer or Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineer Technology degree/diploma.
- Good understanding of aircraft component maintenance principles and system avionic.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the concepts and principles of quality, health & safety, and environmental management.
- Ability to work effectively with minimum supervision after completion of probationary period.
- Full Driving Licence.
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum
