Aerospace Systems Specialist

At Line Up Aviation, we are seeking an experienced Aerospace Systems Specialist to join our team. This is a challenging role that requires a strong understanding of helicopter avionic and electrical systems.
The successful candidate will have knowledge of CAA regulations, particularly Pt 145, Part M Continued Airworthiness Management (CAM). They will also be responsible for maintaining thorough knowledge of helicopter avionic and electrical systems, as well as having knowledge of specialised test equipment relating to avionic and electrical systems.
We estimate the salary for this position to be in the range of £25-£35 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about aerospace engineering, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide engineering operational support to Flight Operations.
- Accomplish maintenance inspections and repairs as directed by nominated LAE Supervisor.
- Work as a team leader and maintain high standards to ensure continued safe operation of the aircraft.
- Complete maintenance tasks, including avionic and electrical systems.
- Replace avionic line replaceable units, requiring simple tests to prove serviceability.
- Supervise avionic and electrical fitters and certify their work.
- Conduct off-aircraft avionic and electrical technical work in Av workshop as required.
Requirements:
- Maintain thorough knowledge of helicopter avionic and electrical systems.
- Have knowledge of specialised test equipment relating to avionic and electrical systems.
- Keep up-to-date with:
- CAA regulations, particularly Pt 145, Part M Continued Airworthiness Management (CAM).
- Flight/Airport Operations.
- Aircraft Line Maintenance.
