Our client, Line Up Aviation, is a specialist aviation and aerospace recruitment company with over 30 years of experience operating worldwide. We are currently seeking an experienced B2 Licensed Engineer to join their team on a contract basis.

Salary: Negotiable via Umbrella, inside IR35, estimated hourly rate £40-£60

About the Role:

  • The successful candidate will provide engineering operational support to Flight Operations, accomplishing maintenance inspections and repairs as directed by the nominated LAE Supervisor.
  • This role requires the ability to work as a team leader, ensuring continued safe operation of the aircraft, completing maintenance tasks including avionic and electrical systems, and replacing avionic line replaceable units.
  • The chosen candidate will supervise avionic and electrical fitters, certify their work, and conduct off-aircraft technical work in the Av workshop as required.
  • Additionally, they will assist in the day-to-day running of the aircraft Hangar, including aircraft movement and general housekeeping responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate must have thorough knowledge of helicopter avionic and electrical systems, as well as knowledge of specialised test equipment relating to these systems.
  • They should be up-to-date on CAA regulations, particularly Pt 145, Part M Continued Airworthiness Management (CAM), and Aircraft Line Maintenance.
  • Experience with SAP and ERP software is also necessary.
