Aviation Engineering Lead

Join Line Up Aviation as an Aviation Engineering Lead and take charge of leading our team of skilled engineers. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing engineering operational support to Flight Operations, as well as accomplishing maintenance inspections and repairs as directed by nominated LAE Supervisor. You will also work closely with our team leaders to maintain high standards and ensure continued safe operation of the aircraft.
We estimate the salary for this position to be in the range of £28-£38 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. If you are a highly motivated and experienced engineer who is passionate about aviation, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide engineering operational support to Flight Operations.
- Accomplish maintenance inspections and repairs as directed by nominated LAE Supervisor.
- Work as a team leader and maintain high standards to ensure continued safe operation of the aircraft.
- Complete maintenance tasks, including avionic and electrical systems.
- Supervise avionic and electrical fitters and certify their work.
Requirements:
- Maintain thorough knowledge of helicopter avionic and electrical systems.
- Have knowledge of specialised test equipment relating to avionic and electrical systems.
- Keep up-to-date with:
- CAA regulations, particularly Pt 145, Part M Continued Airworthiness Management (CAM).
- Flight/Airport Operations.
- Aircraft Line Maintenance.
