Job Description:

We are seeking an exceptional Lead Educator in Pastoral Care to join our dedicated team of support staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering a caring and supportive learning environment that promotes the welfare and well-being of pupils.

Barkerend Primary Leadership Academy is a primary school in Bradford, providing education for 3-11 year olds as part of the Star Academies network. Our academy has a leadership specialism and was graded 'Outstanding' in all areas by Ofsted in June 2019.

In this role, you will work closely with the senior leadership team to develop and implement effective pastoral care strategies that promote pupil welfare and well-being. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all pupils receive the necessary support and guidance to achieve their full potential.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A strong background in pastoral care and education;
  • Experience of working with primary age children;
  • The ability to show initiative and lead by example;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you will need to possess:

  • A degree in a relevant field or equivalent qualification;
  • First Aid certification or a willingness to obtain within 3 months;
  • Excellent organizational and technical skills;
  • Ability to problem solve and provide excellent customer service;
