About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Midwife to join our team at George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust in Nuneaton. As a midwife, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, evidence-based care to expectant mothers and their families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess the needs of women, partners, families, and carers, and develop personalized care plans.
  • Deliver and evaluate standards of midwifery care, ensuring the best possible outcomes for mothers and babies.
  • Provide full antenatal care, including parenting classes, clinical examinations, and screening.
  • Identify high-risk pregnancies and develop strategies to mitigate risks.

Person Specification

Qualifications

  • All Registered Midwife roles will be required to provide evidence of:
  • Statement of NMC Registration.
  • Degree/Diploma in Nursing.
  • Copy of Neonatal Rhesus and CTG training certificates.

Experience

  • A minimum of 12 months paid experience as a Midwife within the last 2 years.
