We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated midwife to join our team at George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust. As an Integrated Midwife with a Specialist Interest in Maternity Triage, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to women and their families throughout pregnancy, labour, and the postnatal period.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert midwifery care in both hospital and community settings, ensuring the highest standards of care and safety for mothers, babies, and their families.
- Act as a woman's advocate, promoting and delivering midwifery care that addresses her physical, psychological, and spiritual needs.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate midwifery care, involving the woman and her family as appropriate.
- Monitor the woman's condition, interpret observations, and identify deviations from normal, reporting and referring to relevant health professionals as needed.
- Keep the woman and her family informed, maintaining client confidentiality and ensuring midwifery care is flexible to meet their diverse needs.
As a member of our team, you will have access to ongoing professional development and support, including preceptorship for newly qualified midwives. You will also be part of a dynamic and supportive management team, working in a forward-thinking environment that prioritizes patient care and safety.
