Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Waking Night Residential Childcare Support Worker to join our team at Area Camden. As a key member of our support team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the physical, social, and emotional care and development of the children and young people in our care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people during waking night shifts.
  • Ensure the safety and welfare of each child throughout the night.
  • Engage in activities with the children, promoting their physical, social, and emotional development.
  • Develop and maintain person-centred bedtime routines for each child.
  • Use a computer to maintain accurate records and report any incidents or concerns.
  • Communicate effectively with our out-of-hours services and respond to phone calls professionally.

Requirements:
  • Experience and knowledge of safeguarding children.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and bring energy and enthusiasm to the role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain Area Camden's policies and procedures.
  • Willingness to work towards the relevant qualification if not held.
