About the Role

Area Camden is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Childcare Support Worker to join our team. As a key member of our residential service, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children and young people.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safety and welfare of each child during your shift.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, promoting their physical, social, and emotional well-being.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a stable and secure environment.
  • Communicate effectively with out-of-hours services and respond to phone calls professionally.

Requirements

  • Experience and knowledge of safeguarding children.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and bring energy and enthusiasm to the role.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to work towards the relevant qualification if not held.
