About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Waking Night Support Worker to join our team at Area Camden. As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and welfare of children in our care during the night shift.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety and welfare of each child during the night shift
  • Offer empathy and compassion to children during difficult times
  • Participate in activities with children and support their bedtime routines
  • Use a computer to keep accurate records and report any incidents
  • Communicate effectively with our out-of-hours services and respond to phone calls professionally

Requirements:

  • Experience and knowledge of safeguarding children
  • Ability to work as part of a team and maintain Area Camden's policies and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to engage and listen to children and take action where needed
  • Organizational skills and ability to plan and prepare work
