Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the Motor strategy and initiatives, working closely with the Managing Director and their Leadership Team.
  • Monitor key performance indicators relating to Motor operations, including financial, trading, customer, risk, and control.
  • Lead key projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
  • Develop a sound network across DLG, maintaining a pulse on daily operations to understand trends, risks, and opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Experience in financial management, investment, and budget planning for a large function.
  • Knowledge of or curiosity about the Motor insurance industry.
  • Experience working across an organisation, providing guidance while bringing empathy and energy.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to gather and summarise data, find solutions to project challenges, and exercise independent judgement.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate and present information to senior internal and external contacts.
