Community Support Specialist

We are looking for a motivated and self-disciplined individual to fill this key role within our Community Use team. As a Caretaker/Cleaner, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our facilities, ensuring they remain available for everyone to use.
The successful applicant will engage with customers and service users, responding to their needs and resolving any issues promptly. You will be required to operate our booking procedures and systems, answer telephones, emails, and face-to-face queries, and ensure all building compliance checks are completed periodically.
This is a varied role that requires flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to work independently. You will be expected to travel between different facilities, some of which may have limited public transport links. To be successful in this role, you will need to possess good communication skills, be customer-focused, and demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving. You will also be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland.
