Train as a Hospital Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven individual to join our team as a Pre-Registration Trainee Pharmacy Technician. This two-year fixed-term training contract will provide you with the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in hospital pharmacy, working under supervision alongside pharmacists, medicines management pharmacy technicians, and other healthcare professionals.

As a trainee, you will be responsible for undertaking medicines management duties at ward level, including medicines reconciliation, assessing patients' own medicines, and ordering medication for individual patients. You will also have the opportunity to study virtually via Bradford College on a day release to achieve a BTEC Level 3 Diploma in the Principles and Practices for Pharmacy Technicians.

This role offers a competitive salary of £22,308 (minimum wage) in the first year, increasing to £22,308 (minimum wage) in the second year, plus benefits such as full support from an Educational Supervisor and qualified pharmacy assessors to complete the qualification.
