Job Title: Academic Human Resources Officer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Academic Human Resources Officer to join our team at Acro Aircraft Seating Ltd. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing strategic HR support to our managers and employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Induction and onboarding of new employees
  • Generating KPI reports and HR metrics
  • Driving improvement initiatives
  • Leading managers on discipline and grievance issues
  • Managing sickness absence and absence policy
  • Supporting managers with performance management
  • Designing and delivering HR training
  • Leading employee wellbeing initiatives
  • Supporting project work and employee engagement
  • Conducting exit interviews and analysing trends
  • Building effective relationships with stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Experience in a generalist HR role
  • CIPD-qualified or part-qualified
  • Understanding of current employment law and HR practices
  • Practical judgement and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to respond to competing priorities
  • Highly developed relationship management skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Familiarity with MS Office suite and HRIS
