About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Business Development Director to lead our strategic partnerships with Microsoft Azure. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing pursuits, and coordinating the increase of pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and pursue opportunities in the enterprise cloud market with an average sale value in six, seven, and eight figures.
  • Build relationships with Microsoft field sales team members and act as the face of Publicis Sapient to gather information on opportunities and guide the co-selling process.
  • Advocate for Microsoft within Publicis Sapient accounts and represent the value of these partnerships as key growth drivers.
  • Defend organic accounts from competitive services firms and provide up-to-date sales intelligence to indicate where clients are investing in the cloud market.
  • Livewithin the Microsoft ecosystem, understanding key leaders, value proposition, and market trends.
  • Assist Microsoft and Publicis Sapient sales teams in identifying, qualifying, and pursuing potential opportunities.
  • Manage the pipeline of opportunities and coordinate with industry verticals and partners to solve for overall yield at margin.
  • Structure initial contracts with clients and partners and stay involved in delivery during initial stages.
  • Present Publicis Sapient credentials to Microsoft and maintain and generate documents needed to generate revenue and sales.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders among Microsoft/Publicis Sapient clients/prospects and oversee the relationships of other sales roles.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of the Cloud and Microsoft Azure technology landscape and successful track record of building and managing a Microsoft Cloud business.
  • Ability to navigate a large organization and have the power of persuasion through content and confidence.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and experience - demonstrated ability to take a consultative approach to engaging with executives.
  • Strong Collaboration skills - demonstrated ability to work across internal organization to cast, pitch, and sell deals with relevant subject matter expertise.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English and presentation skills.
  • Strong track record of managing and successfully performing against a large-scale sales quota.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is around £120,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
