About the Role

You will be working as part of our multidisciplinary team, providing specialist occupational therapy services to individuals with complex mental health needs.

Your primary focus will be on promoting independence, facilitating social participation, and enhancing overall well-being through tailored therapeutic interventions.

With a strong emphasis on evidence-based practice, you will work closely with colleagues to develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each service user.



Key Responsibilities
  1. Assessing and evaluating the needs of service users, identifying areas for intervention and developing effective treatment plans.
  2. Delivering high-quality occupational therapy services, including individual and group sessions, to promote skill development, confidence, and autonomy.
  3. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.


Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A degree in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent) and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • A commitment to evidence-based practice, with a willingness to stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in occupational therapy.
