Job Title: Childcare Team Lead
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced childcare professional to join our team as a Childcare Team Lead. This is a unique opportunity to work with children and young people, providing day-to-day care and support in a therapeutic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide daily care and support to children and young people, working within a therapeutic approach.
- Lead shifts and manage a staff team, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained.
- Support the upkeep of the home, including cooking, cleaning, and safeguarding welfare.
- Contribute to the business, clinical, and social development of the service.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in Caring for Children and Young People (or equivalent) required.
- Experience working with young people with challenging behaviors.
- Leadership experience, managing a team and supervising care staff.
- Ability to work varied rotas, including days, sleep-ins, and weekends.
- Full UK Manual driving license required.
Salary and Benefits:
- Salary: £22,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience.
