Job Description

beBee Professionals in Cannock is looking for a passionate Learning Mentor Assistant to provide individualized support to students with special educational needs.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with teaching staff to identify and address areas of need for students with SEN.
  2. Deliver one-on-one or small group support sessions to facilitate learning, socialization, and emotional regulation.
  3. Assist in the development and implementation of IEPs to ensure student progress and achievement.
  4. Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and motivation.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs is mandatory.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
  • The ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and composure when interacting with students and colleagues is vital.
  • Relevant qualifications in education or SEN support are preferred.
