Job Summary

This is a challenging and rewarding role for a seasoned professional to join the Bank of America team as a Senior Relationship Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial lending, business development, and portfolio management, with a proven track record of success in building and maintaining relationships with high-value clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of complex clients and prospects with annual revenues of $5-50 million, providing expert advice and financial solutions to meet their business needs.
  • Develop and execute strategies to acquire, deepen, and maintain profitable client relationships, leveraging the bank's products and services to drive growth and increase client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Investment Banking, Foreign Exchange, and Wealth Management, to design and deliver financial solutions to clients and prospects.
  • Lead and facilitate dialogue with clients and prospects on complex business issues, including industry trends, alternative capital structures, and general business matters.
  • Coach and mentor peers, utilizing leadership skills to drive team success.
  • Stay up-to-date on sales practices, market conditions, and industry trends, adapting to changes as needed to drive business growth.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial lending, business development, commercial credit, and portfolio management in business banking or middle market sector.
  • Proven track record of sales, prospecting new business, and enhancing existing relationships.
  • Ability to understand and interpret financial statements and cash flow analysis to assess and analyze financial conditions of companies and industry trends.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Economics, or equivalent relevant work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in loan structuring, referral identification, credit documentation requirements, pipeline management, and referral management.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and risk management principles.
