About the Role

At Turning Point, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Access and Engagement Recovery Specialist to join our team in City and Hackney. As a key member of our substance use service delivery team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals on their recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive, person-centered, and individualized recovery plans that reflect the structure and aims of our Models of Psychosocial Interventions.
  • Act as a 'key worker' to a caseload of service users, supporting them to decide their goals around treatment and develop plans to achieve these.
  • Maintain regular contact with clients, offering advice, information, and psycho-social interventions, as well as providing assessments, risk management planning, and working closely with our clinical staff.
  • Identify and mitigate safeguarding and clinical risks, and ensure the delivery of excellent person-centered interventions with individuals for whom we provide support.

Requirements

  • An understanding of substance and alcohol use and the challenges and opportunities for individuals on a recovery journey.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work dynamically on a one-to-one and group basis.
