Talent Development Partner for Publishing Success

The Talent Development Partner will be part of a team dedicated to delivering a proactive and engaging HR service with full employee lifecycle support to the Publishing group. This role aims to create innovative experiences that attract, engage, retain, and develop talent.
Main Responsibilities:
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, providing expert advice on performance management, talent development, and organizational change.
- Collaborate with line managers to understand departmental priorities, enhance engagement, and guide performance management practices.
- Ensure seamless employee life cycle operations through collaboration with recruitment, ops, IT, and facilities teams.
- Proactively identify and resolve people challenges by working closely with people managers and employees.
- Support managers and employees in performance management, including appraisals, development plans, and career development.
- Advise on organizational challenges, providing guidance on policies, processes, and systems.
- Champion and promote HR initiatives across teams, delivering training as required.
- Identify opportunities for individual and team development, collaborating with L&D Manager to develop learning pathways.
- Manage employee relations activity and provide insights on ER matters and policy development.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant UK employment law and provide strategic advice to managers.
- Assist in reviewing policies and communications to ensure compliance and alignment with business goals.
- Analyze data to recommend future approaches and incentives.
About You:
- CIPD Qualified (Level 5) with strong HR generalist background at People Partner/HRBP level.
- Exceptional people skills, including strong listening abilities, empathy, and curiosity.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments, managing competing priorities, and driving process change.
- Skilled in organizational development, talent management, performance management, reward, and learning & development.
- Proven experience in resolving complex HR issues and adapting quickly under pressure.
- A deep understanding of UK Employment Law and HR Practices.
- Proficient in using HR systems for performance management, L&D, and HR Admin.
