About the Opportunity

Key Responsibilities:
  • Achieve high levels of outbound calls and email activity to potential new customers, with the aim of generating new business.
  • Research potential sales opportunities via online research, social media, and other methods.
  • Identify suitable individuals to liaise with once a lead has been identified, making initial contact to secure a meeting for the Business Development Manager.
  • Follow up outgoing tenders with the client and update the sales team as necessary.
  • Liaise internally with various teams, including estimating, business development, and management.
  • Manage and own the internal CRM system.
  • Stay up-to-date with product and service information.
  • Support the sales team and assist with various tasks.
  • Generate sales reports and present to the team during sales meetings.
Requirements:
  • No construction experience necessary, but would be advantageous.
  • Previous B2B outbound sales experience.
  • Proven experience working to KPIs and reporting to management.
  • Strong lead qualification.
  • Robust and tenacious approach.
  • Ability to work to specific deadlines.
  • Demonstrated resilience.
  • Proactive, driven, and confident individual.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise your workload.
  • A positive, outgoing person who brings passion, energy, and excellence in execution to their work.
  • Strong and timely communication and response times.
  • IT literate and confident in using a range of programs, including Microsoft Office products - Excel, Word, and Outlook.
