Key Responsibilities
  • Achieving high levels of outbound calls and relevant email activity to potential new customers with the aim of generating new business opportunities
  • Conducting thorough research on potential sales prospects via online platforms, social media, and other methods
  • Identifying the most suitable individual to engage with once a lead has been identified and making initial contact to secure a meeting for the Business Development Manager
  • Following up on outgoing tenders with clients and updating the sales team as necessary
  • Liaising with various internal teams, including estimating, business development, and management
  • Maintaining ownership of the internal CRM system and ensuring accurate data entry
  • Staying up-to-date with product and service information to provide expert advice to customers
  • Providing support to the sales team and assisting with various tasks as needed
  • Generating sales reports and presenting key findings to the team during regular sales meetings
Requirements

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • No prior construction experience is required, but it would be advantageous
  • Previous B2B outbound sales experience is essential
  • Proven ability to work towards Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and report progress to management
  • Strong lead qualification skills
  • Demonstrated resilience and tenacity in the face of challenges
  • Ability to meet specific deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize own workload
  • A positive and outgoing personality, with a passion for delivering excellent results
  • Excellent communication and response times
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
