About The Role

Motability Operations Limited is currently seeking a Commercial Relationship Manager to join our team remotely on a full-time, permanent basis. The role requires managing and developing commercial relationships with suppliers to achieve the optimum balance between customer satisfaction and commercial value.

The ideal candidate will have overall responsibility for service management from suppliers, ensuring the best outcome for customers while achieving commercial savings.

  • This is a commercial role that involves identifying and reporting savings made through initiatives.
  • The Commercial Relationship Manager will be responsible for managing commercial relationships within a set of suppliers.
  • You will be responsible for continually improving operational processes and overseeing the planning, execution, and implementation of initiatives to deliver positive commercial outcomes.
  • Ensure partners deliver excellent customer service and performance within contractual KPIs.
  • Owning the In Life Tactical programme, delivering continuous improvement and commercial savings through initiative management.
  • Manage a Scheme Partner Relationship Manager who supports field-based/partner-based activity from the office, implementing initiatives and supporting internal communications.
  • Engage partners to collaborate with MO Tech to deliver a seamless online connected journey for customers.
  • Use a data-driven approach to manage partner costs and ensure a value-added approach without impacting customer experience.
  • Exceptional leadership skills are required, including coaching and performance management, as you will be managing internal and external individuals.
  • Strong commercial thinking and problem-solving abilities with a strong track record of implementing large-scale initiatives.
  • A strong attention to detail is crucial, requiring confidence in analysing data from different sources to ensure accuracy.

Key Requirements:

  • Experienced in developing commercial relationships.
  • Experience in managing supplier performance and people.
  • The ability to balance customer and commercial needs while implementing new ideas and approaches.

  • An estimated annual salary of £60,000 - £80,000, depending on experience.
