Job Overview

Invigorate Recruitment is working with its client in York to recruit an additional team member into the finance team. We are seeking an Administrative Finance Officer to join their team.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in credit control and administration, with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Managing and collecting debts from the company's debtors
  • Ensuring the timely collection of debt with agreed terms
  • Following up on payments as needed
  • Responding to clients' enquiries
  • Agreeing potential repayment plans with the account management team
  • Checking and posting of receipts
  • Providing cover within the finance team
  • Ensuring monthly processing deadlines are met
  • Assisting the finance manager with the processing of core accounts functions

Requirements:

  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Able to work accurately with good attention to details
  • Understanding and maintaining confidentiality
  • Ability to manage a diverse workload and work in a fast-moving environment
  • Great communication skills with a friendly and flexible approach
  • Excellent customer relation skills and professional/courteous telephone manner

Estimated Salary: £29,000 - £34,000 per annum
