Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Railway Engineer to join our team in Crewe. This is a contract role, inside IR35, with a salary of approximately £27.40 per hour, paid via umbrella.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake train maintenance duties, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Implement safe systems and controls within your area of responsibility.
  • Carry out download diagnosis and fault finding to an intermediate level.
  • Provide technical support at incidents off-site as required.

Required Skills:

  • Experience in a mechanical/electrical engineering environment.
  • Basic fault finding skills.
  • Ability to understand and care for tools, equipment, and PPE.
