Railway Infrastructure Development Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Railway Infrastructure Development Engineer to join our team based in Crewe, responsible for project engineering all aspects of specific heavy maintenance contracts.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a heavy maintenance project engineering role and a City and Guilds/BTEC certificate in Engineering. They will be responsible for carrying out day-to-day tasks that cover the production, utilization, and governance of project process deliverables.
The role requires strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work closely with the project teams performing the heavy maintenance to ensure timely resolution of material or obsolescence issues.
Estimated salary: £60,000 - £70,000 per annum.
Main Responsibilities- Develop project work breakdown structures (WBS) and production plans.
- Ensure the correct VMI's, VOI's, and ATC work instructions and all relevant project documentation are available for the production team.
- Collaborate with the project teams performing the heavy maintenance to resolve material or obsolescence issues.
- Deliver training sessions on project-related topics.
