About the Role: We are currently recruiting for a Senior Fitter to join our team at Shorterm Group. As a Senior Fitter, you will be responsible for carrying out mechanical repairs and maintenance on trains and railway equipment. You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as extensive knowledge of mechanical engineering.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. To carry out mechanical repairs and maintenance on trains and railway equipment
  2. To identify and rectify any defects or issues with the equipment
  3. To maintain accurate records of all work carried out
  4. To work closely with other members of the team to achieve project deadlines
Salary: £37,000 per annum (equivalent to £17.85 per hour), with opportunities for overtime and bonuses.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have extensive knowledge of mechanical engineering, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A competitive salary and benefits package is offered.
