We are seeking an experienced Building Control Inspector to join our dynamic team, reporting to the Senior Building Control Inspector.

Job Description

">
  • Deliver statutory building control functions to core and external growth services on commercial and domestic projects.
  • Be involved in external contract, growth and resilience work.
  • Making decisions on works, applications, notices and other matters under the Building Act 1984 and Building Regulations 2010.
  • Liaising with partner agencies and authorities as required.
  • Upselling building control services and specialist services.

Requirements

">
  • Experience in building control inspection, general building surveying, design, project management or similar specialist services within a local government authority or building control body.
  • Knowledge of current building control legislation, associated guidance and issues relevant to the post.
  • Ability to administer all forms and levels of building regulation applications.
  • Knowledge and understanding of operating building control software systems.

Salary Information

">

$85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
