Manufacturing Process Lead

Infinity Employment Ltd provides engineering solutions to various sectors, and we're seeking a Quality Control Engineer to join our team.
Job Description
This role involves leading the Quality Inspection team and overseeing quality control for our industry-leading client. The contract will be based in Staffordshire for 3 months, with a high likelihood of extension to 6 months.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to the Quality inspection team to ensure their effectiveness in maintaining quality standards.
- Conduct Operator and Quality inspector competency validation to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Develop quality control processes, including Design processes, Incoming Goods, and Manufacturing Control Plans, to drive improvement in product compliance and defect identification.
- Lead QR1 and QR2 meeting governance to ensure quality standards are met.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Expertise in Quality Control techniques.
- Auditor Certification: Internal auditor qualification.
- Desirable in-depth knowledge of transformer design and manufacture.
Working Hours and Salary
The working hours for this role are Monday to Thursday (8am - 4pm) and Friday (8am - 3.30pm), with overtime available. The salary range is £23 - £30 (PAYE) or £29 (LTD).
