Job Description

This role involves leading the Quality Inspection team and overseeing quality control for our industry-leading client. The contract will be based in Staffordshire for 3 months, with a high likelihood of extension to 6 months.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide technical support to the Quality inspection team to ensure their effectiveness in maintaining quality standards.
  2. Conduct Operator and Quality inspector competency validation to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  3. Develop quality control processes, including Design processes, Incoming Goods, and Manufacturing Control Plans, to drive improvement in product compliance and defect identification.
  4. Lead QR1 and QR2 meeting governance to ensure quality standards are met.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • Expertise in Quality Control techniques.
  • Auditor Certification: Internal auditor qualification.
  • Desirable in-depth knowledge of transformer design and manufacture.

Working Hours and Salary

The working hours for this role are Monday to Thursday (8am - 4pm) and Friday (8am - 3.30pm), with overtime available. The salary range is £23 - £30 (PAYE) or £29 (LTD).
