At Carbon 60, we're seeking a skilled Building Control Specialist to join our team. This role involves delivering statutory building control functions on a wide range of commercial and domestic projects nationwide.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing expert advice on building regulations and safety standards
  • Conducting site inspections and visits to ensure compliance with building laws and codes
  • Making decisions on works, applications, notices, and other matters controlled under the Building Act 1984 and Building Regulations 2010
What We're Looking For:
  • Experience in building control inspection, general building surveying, design, or project management within a local government authority or building control body
  • Knowledge of current building control legislation, associated guidance, and issues relevant to the post
  • Ability to administer all forms and levels of building regulation applications using building control software systems

We estimate this role will be approximately £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
